Our Bougie Experts guide guests through the entire candle-making experience—from the moment they walk in until they leave with a candle they created themselves. If you’re outgoing, creative, love meeting new people, and thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you!
At The Bougie Bar, every day is different. Our business is driven by reservations, private parties, walk-in traffic, and special events, so our staffing needs naturally ebb and flow. We’re looking for team members who enjoy that flexibility and understand that schedules may vary from week to week based on business demand.
Availability:
- Weekend availability is required.
- Some weekday availability is required.
- Flexibility is important, as shifts are scheduled around bookings, events, and seasonal business levels. Some weeks may have more hours than others depending on demand.
Job Responsibilities
- Host private parties, social events, and walk-in experiences.
- Guide and teach guests through the candle-making process.
- Create a fun, engaging, and memorable experience for every guest.
- Confidently manage large groups while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Assist with cleaning, organization, and general store upkeep.
- Restock merchandise and maintain an inviting retail environment.
- Work with management to achieve store goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
- Comfortable with a flexible schedule that changes based on bookings and business needs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Positive, energetic, and outgoing personality.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
