Job Summary/Basic Functions
Under the broad supervision of the Business Manager, the incumbent will provide administrative and financial support within the Department of Surgery. This includes financial strategic planning and management, budgetary oversight, grant administration, purchasing, personnel management, and contract administration. The incumbent is responsible for implementing and adhering to all relevant rules, regulations, and policies of the University, the State, and the Federal Government as they relate to the administration and financial operations of departmental programs, contracts, grants, and other activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor’s
Required Field of Study: Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field
Number of years required to perform the job: One
Type of experience required to perform the job: Professional work experience
Substitution: Master’s degree in business oriented field can substitute for required experience. Bachelor’s degree in other discipline will be considered with additional three years of relevant professional level experience.
