Field Engineer
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry level Field Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field, support daily construction activities, and develop technical and leadership skills essential for a successful career in construction engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with on-site project coordination and supervision under the guidance of project field team members.
- Perform site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Help document project schedules, material deliveries, and labor productivity.
- Support documentation of daily field reports, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Participate in meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams as required.
- Ensure safety protocols and company policies are enforced on-site.
Qualifications:
- Internship or previous experience in construction (preferred but not required).
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Basic knowledge of construction practices, materials, and equipment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with project management or construction software is a plus (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
