Students who successfully complete the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Program will be able to:
- Provide safe and effective patient-centered nursing care to populations served, incorporating culture and diversity
- Practice within the legal, ethical and professional scope of the registered nurse
- Utilize evidence-based practice to guide clinical reasoning and decision making
- Effectively communicate the health needs of populations served to interdisciplinary members
- Integrate technology to enhance clinical decision-making for improved patient outcomes
- Student achievement related to Program Learning Outcomes is assessed systematically and results are made available on the Program Review webpage.
