Student Success Story: Haley Seither

Northshore’s Student Spotlight for April is Haley Seither. Haley is majoring in nursing and was nominated by Ms. Tracie Bates. Please take a moment to read Haley’s personal story.

“Hey, y’all! My name is Haley Seither, and I am currently enrolled at NTCC with the goal of becoming a nurse. I have a passion for helping others, and I am a huge science nerd, specifically when it comes to learning about the human body. I started at Northshore Technical Community College in the spring of 2017 and could not be happier with my choice. I enjoy NTCC because of the one-on-one education and support I receive from the teachers and staff here on campus. I have had nothing but positive experiences here and have never had such kind-hearted teachers who truly care about each student and his or her success. My number one motivators are my family and friends; they are always offering to help me study and to provide me with everything I could possibly need to work to my full potential. After completing my coursework at NTCC, I plan to go to Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in Baton Rouge, LA, to obtain a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Once I graduate, my goal is to become a travel nurse so that I am able to travel the world and help others. If I could give any advice to current students, it would be to always ask questions! If you are uncertain about a subject or not too sure on a certain problem, just ask!”

“Haley is a very dedicated student. She works hard at staying organized, keeping up with the material, and coordinating study groups to help everyone in the class to be successful. It’s been a pleasure to have her in my classes in the past and this semester.”
