Approximately 300 children attend the programs daily from infants to 11 year olds. Students follow a schedule that includes choice-based activities and play centers, recess, and specialist classes in a fun enriching environment.
The positions we are looking to fill are temporary, part-time roles for the 2026-27 school year and could lead to further work during the following spring and summer.
In this role, Newman Plus work as a team actively engaging and supervising children enrolled in our programs, along with helping faculty and instructors facilitate the programming. Number of days worked per week is flexible, the shifts are typically:
Hours, 2:45 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Days of Operation, Monday – Friday
Starting Hourly rate, $13.00

- Keep children safe, active, and engaged
- Be a positive role model to young children
- Be punctual and reliable
- Actively supervise and develop strong relationships with students
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of Newman at all times.
