We’re happy to announce that Springboard has partnered with Lousiana State University Online & Continuing Education to launch the LSU UI/UX Design Bootcamp.

LSU is among the top 1% of elite universities with land, sea, and space-grant status and the highest-ranked public university in Louisiana by U.S. News & World Report.

The new LSU UI/UX Design Bootcamp, powered by Springboard, explores all stages of the UI/UX design process from design thinking to ideating, sketching, and more. The curriculum consists of videos, articles, hands-on projects, and career-related coursework.

Notably, students also complete a 40-hour industry design project where they work with real companies to execute concrete deliverables for the business, affording students hands-on experience and an opportunity to build a portfolio.

“LSU remains committed to staying on the cutting edge of online program development and expanding opportunities for adult learners to earn a quality education from LSU,” said Matt Lee, interim executive vice president & provost of LSU.

“As one of the biggest and most trusted brands in higher education, LSU is helping us to build the most highly accessible educational pathways to the high-paying careers of the future,” said Sanam Raza, General Manager of University Partnerships at Springboard.

“This bootcamp program isn’t just for new LSU students, but for anyone interested in the opportunity to upskill and reskill, regardless of where they are in their careers. Bringing skills-based education to diverse cohorts is what our mission is all about, and we’re thrilled at the opportunity to deliver on that mission with LSU.”

Students who have completed Springboard programs have received job offers from highly coveted companies including Google, Facebook, Dell, Lyft, IBM, and more.

The course will be open to the public, and prospective students do not need to be enrolled currently at LSU or have previous experience to qualify. Upon completion of the program, students will earn a digital badge co-branded with LSU and Springboard to share their qualifications online, and access to the program’s career support and job placement services.

Enrollment for the LSU UI/UX Design Bootcamp is now open, and classes will begin in January 2022. Students can enroll or sign up to be notified about enrollment updates here.
